From Changing American Families.

I have read From Changing American Families. It is about differences in each class of people. Socially, gender, ethnicity, and family life are written about in this reading.
The upper class lives on interest alone. The money or assets that have been handed down through the generations. They socialize through sports activities that are for the children. The men are successful if their fathers have been successful.
The middle class relocates many times for a job. They are not to close to their families. The friends they meet and mingle with are considered family.
The lower class does alot of trading to make everyday life work for them. It seems like it would be alot of stress living that life style. Every morning something would have to be taken care of at the spurr of the moment. It could be someone needs childcare, or rent money. Sometimes you would be obligated to return the favor.

  2. Nice summary. This was a difficult story to wrap your head around all the statistics. I like how you put that all into a short, simple and easy to read post!
